As April comes to an end, its been a good month a Destan Pool. A few guests and quite a few fish up to mid 20’s. The lake is filling out and the with leaves now appearing on the trees, it providing some welcome shade for our visitors. The lake is alive with wildlife too. Frogs, Grey Herons, the odd owl, pheasants, geese, diving ducks and this weekend, I saw the first swallow over the lake. The buzzards and kites also making welcome overflights of the lake on a regular basis. The surrounding fields are full of skylark, partridges and the a few hare and deer showing early morning and late evening. Magical.
